Dion is a scientific technologist, steeped in both technology and the its trends, as technology is an evolving system. His work focuses on improving the ability of working researchers to share and communicate complex working scientific artifacts, and for scientific artifacts to be preserved, yet computationally active.

He thinks a lot about complex systems, how we and technology evolve together, and how to build a better world for his two kids.
